On Friday, July 29th at 6 p.m., the Amherstburg Freedom Museum will host our annual Emancipation Dinner & Dance celebration being held at the Fogolar Furlan. This event recognizes the 188th anniversary of the Abolition of Slavery in Canada in 1834 and the federal recognition of Emancipation Day in Canada.
Join us at fabulous celebration of Emancipation Day with a four course meal including, antipasti, salad, pasta, entre and dessert, live entertainment featuring Windsor based band Six Degrees, you won’t want to miss it! Dancing, 50/50 raffle, silent auction, and fellowship await you.
