This free event features local Black history highlights, the release of the 2023 Windsor-Essex Black History Month Activity Schedule, music and poetry. Co-hosted by the Essex County Black Historical Research Society, Amherstburg Freedom Museum, Windsor West Indian Association, and Black Women of Forward Action.
This FREE event will feature Black history highlights, the release of the 2023 Windsor-Essex Black History Month schedule of events, and performances by Erik E-tomic Johnson, Bunmi Africa Onanaye, Nadine Manroe-Wakerell, Florine Ndimubandi, Mbonisi Zikhali Zomkhonto, and Storyteller Teajai Travis.
