Celebrate Black History – READ UNTIL YOU UNDERSTAND.
Description: Adults and Seniors join us every Thursday from 3:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. as we read, learn and discover amazing people with powerful stories. Let’s continue to READ UNTIL WE UNDERSTAND. Borrowing the title from a book written by Farah Jasmine Griffin, many books on various topics will be available for you to check out and enjoy at home. Come in and receive a great book list of materials available at your Windsor Public Libraries along with great discussions and presentations. February 6th, MAYA ANGELOU AND BOB MARLEY, February 13th, LOCAL HEROS AND SHEROES CONSTABLE MATTHEW DAVIS we will be talking about his family history and contributions. Come and tell us about your local heroes and sheroes, February 20th, Scientists, Artist, Musicians, Activists and more, and February 27th Power of Art and Poetry.
