In discussing the highlights of his career, Phil says that he has enjoyed being able to help young people learn how to do some impressive things with electricity and electromagnetism, while teaching them to understand that they had an obligation to ensure that the public was always protected from these forces. Phil has had the opportunity to travel to several parts of the world, and was suprised to learn that most other technically developed countries were behind Canada in their commitment to ensuring that the public was protected from harm from these technical advances.
