Crossings And Crossroads with Vaughn Klugh and Christian Vegh

Join us at the museum Sunday, October 19th at 3:00 p.m. for Crossings and Crossroads with Vaughn Klugh and Christian Vegh, a live music and storytelling event. This is a free public event, although donations are welcome: any proceeds benefit the Amherstburg Freedom Museum.

Professor Vaughn Klugh lives in Detroit, Michigan, and is a Berklee College of Music Grad 1976 (Arranging and Composition).  He was the Department Head of the Jazz Guitar Program at the University of Windsor and is a music publisher.  Klugh is the author of “Klugh’s 2 The Blues” jazz books for all instruments and teaches guitar RPM Rhythm Education Classes and specializes in arranging Classical, Big Band and Jazz music. 

Klugh is a lifetime member of the Detroit Federation of Musicians (American Federation of Musicians), has travelled the globe with artists including Jimmy Smith, Milt Jackson, Marcus Belgraves, Ray Brown, The Drifters, Charles Earling, Richard Groove Holmes, Spanky Wilson as well as many famous Motown Artists.  He has recorded with Motown legends and even Detroit rappers such as Eminem. 

Christian Vegh (singer/songwriter/producer) lives in Windsor Essex and is a Berklee College of Music Grad 2019 (songwriting/guitar). Vegh has his own studio and has scored movies, written music for television, taught “Blues in School” and teaches guitar, vocals, songwriting at Elite Studios.  He performs (vocals/guitar) with Detroit Band, Slight Return “Midwest Band of the Year” as well as The Christian Vegh Band and tours with Dame Dash & BluRoc.

Vegh is a member of the Windsor Federation of Musicians (American/Canadian Federation of Musicians) and received the American Federation of Musicians Charles McDaniels International Award and Scholarship and the Memphis Blues Foundation Scholarship.
