Annually, a wide array of Black History Month events take place throughout our region, and this year will be no different. There are a variety of events and programming celebrating Black History Month planned for Windsor and Essex County this year! There’s lots to see and do this year.

The 2024 Windsor-Essex Black History Month Kickoff is taking place in-person this year on Friday, January 26th at 7:00 p.m. at the Caribbean Centre 2410 Central Ave., Windsor. 

The purpose is to publicly recognize the importance of Black History Month as well as to encourage the community to participate in the array of Black History Month events happening locally!
