Amherstburg Freeedom Museum Temporarily Closed as of April 3rd, 2021

In accordance with the Windsor-Essex Health Unit and the Provincial Government’s regulations, the Amherstburg Freedom Museum will be temporarily closed to the public until Step 3 of the Ontario Provincial Government Reopening Roadmap. Please monitor our social media pages for updates on our reopening.

COVID-19 Re-Opening Protocols below remain in place once it is safe to re-open

Please note: Mask wearing is mandatory, but exceptions can be made following orders from the Windsor Essex County Health Unit. Which includes children under five, those experiencing breathing issues, those who cannot safely wear a face covering due to medical reasons, and for religious reasons.
